Meet Mindi
Meet Mindi, the Founder and CFP® professional of Amethyst Wealth Planning®.
Mindi is deeply fascinated by the intersection of financial planning, the psychology of money, and fostering an abundance mindset. This passion drives her to connect with people on what truly matters to them, offering wisdom, guidance, and support.
Mindi started in the financial services industry in 2006, after a successful ten year career as a massage therapist. She studied with The American College of Financial Services, and holds a BA in Psychology from Yeshiva University.
Outside of her professional life, Mindi finds joy in singing with the Heschel Notes, exploring urban hiking trails, and being an active member of her local synagogue. She resides in Brooklyn with her wife, Malkie, and their three sons.
Amethyst Wealth Planning®, The Inspiration:
Amethyst Wealth Planning® was founded by Mindi Wernick. She was inspired by the legacy of her mother, Ahuva Wernick Z'L. Ahuva was a dynamic community leader and a strong businesswoman who imparted many valuable lessons.
In honor of her mother's legacy, Mindi named the firm after the amethyst ring she inherited. She felt a calling to this profession, driven by a desire to create a solid financial future for her family and to help others do the same.
